Overview
The Store Assistant role involves managing daily store functions with a focus on inventory control, team supervision, and customer service excellence at Moti Packaging Industries in Delhi-NCR. The goal is to ensure efficient, profitable store operations while maintaining high standards in stock management and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor stock quantities and ensure prompt restocking to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Conduct periodic stock audits to verify inventory accuracy and proper record-keeping of stock movements.
- Liaise with suppliers to place orders and coordinate delivery schedules.
- Enhance sales by fulfilling customer requirements and delivering superior service.
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized and clean store environment for effective product presentation.
- Lead and motivate store staff to meet sales targets and uphold operational standards.
- Manage staff schedules and ensure sufficient workforce coverage at all times.
- Provide training to employees on store procedures, customer care, and product knowledge.
- Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing tasks and manage cash handling procedures.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and health regulations.
- Keep detailed records of financial transactions, including sales and banking matters.
- Generate and submit performance reports daily and weekly covering sales, inventory status, and operational metrics.
- Organize product displays attractively and implement promotional activities as per company guidelines.
- Manage vendor relationships, coordinate timely deliveries, and negotiate favorable terms.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Retail Management, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in managing stores or retail supervision roles.
- Strong leadership capabilities with effective team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer and vendor interactions.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and point-of-sale software.
- Ability to perform efficiently under pressure and meet set deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure operational accuracy.
