Job Overview
The Spotter plays a crucial role in managing vehicle traffic at landfill sites, transfer stations, or recycling centers, ensuring drivers are guided safely and efficiently according to the site fill plan while enforcing posted safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct vehicle operators to appropriate disposal areas in accordance with the site fill plan.
- Ensure strict compliance with all publicly posted safety protocols on site.
- Inspect incoming waste loads to identify and remove unacceptable materials prior to disposal.
- Assist with additional general labor tasks such as site cleanup, yard maintenance, and upkeep of buildings as needed.
Compensation
The position offers an hourly wage ranging between $16 and $18.
