Job Overview
The Specialist I Electrical role is based in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, UAE, requiring 6 to 8 years of experience and a diploma degree. Proficiency in English is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide essential information and feedback to supervisors as necessary.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance for electrical equipment within plants, adhering to established timelines and maintenance cycles.
- Communicate significant maintenance needs to supervisors to arrange corrective maintenance within agreed timeframes.
- Address faults and failures reported in plants and electrical systems via work order systems; conduct site visits to inspect, diagnose, and resolve issues following supervisor guidance and schedules.
- Test, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of electrical equipment including High Voltage, Medium Voltage, and Low Voltage devices such as switchgears, circuit breakers, transformers, variable frequency drives (VFD), sensor systems (SS), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), battery chargers, and low voltage control panels using appropriate tools and instruments to accurately diagnose and rectify breakdowns.
