Job Summary

We are seeking a Buyer to drive team objectives by managing the procurement of subcontracted components and services, ensuring optimal price, quality, and timely delivery aligned with our global supply chain guidelines. This role involves crafting and executing purchasing strategies that support Commercial Operations and engineered markets, aiming to enhance profitability and punctual supply. The Buyer will oversee supplier portfolios and collaborate closely with supply teams to bolster delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Just-in-Time supply principles for materials required in manufacturing facility projects.
• Negotiate favorable pricing and commercial terms to maximize procurement efficiency and profitability.
• Assist service centers during customer quotation phases to secure competitive pricing and delivery advantages.
• Monitor order progress to guarantee on-time delivery from both external vendors and intercompany sources.
• Proactively address and resolve challenges related to importing processes and contractual delivery fulfillment.
• Establish supply agreements with key suppliers to secure preferential pricing and delivery commitments.
• Manage inventory by reviewing stock levels to maintain optimal site inventory.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Advanced knowledge of purchasing techniques and their application.
• Understanding of technical requirements and quality standards related to products within procurement.
• Fluency in English communication.
• Comprehensive knowledge of core purchasing areas including negotiations, supplier evaluation and development, supplier quality assurance, and logistics.
• Insight into market demands relevant to our industries.
• Strong strategic and global negotiation capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in a related field with 3 to 5 years of pertinent experience.
