Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Tester for an engaging permanent position located in the Nuremberg area. The role involves overseeing the entire testing lifecycle from planning to evaluation, including the execution and documentation of software tests.

Commencement Date: September 1, 2026
Location: Nuremberg Region, Bavaria, Germany
Industry: Software Development within an Industrial Environment
Working Languages: German and English (minimum B1 proficiency)

Main Responsibilities

Design and implement software test plans
Create detailed test specifications and automate test procedures
Analyze, assess, and document software defects
Conduct reviews of development and test documentation as well as code
Compose technical documentation in English

Requirements

Completed degree in Computer Science or a related qualification
Several years of professional experience in software testing or software development
Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming languages
Good command of English language
Preference for candidates with experience in Linux, GIT, MISRA-C standards, and ISTQB certification
