Role Overview
As a Software Engineer based in Bengaluru, you will engage in end-to-end application development, including planning, designing, testing, and deploying web applications and APIs using Python and TypeScript. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and architects in a dynamic, ever-evolving environment requiring adaptability and problem-solving prowess.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications and RESTful APIs primarily with Python and TypeScript.
- Participate actively in design discussions to improve software architecture and features.
- Implement coding following established best practices and standards.
- Perform unit testing and contribute to test-driven development processes.
- Work collaboratively within Agile-Scrum teams ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience building software solutions, preferably with Microsoft technologies.
- Strong software development lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge and engineering discipline.
- Proficiency with Python, Flask framework, MongoDB, RESTful Web APIs, and JSON data formats.
- Good command over frontend technologies including TypeScript, CSS.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, domain-driven design, and test-driven development.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a complex, multicultural international environment respecting Scrum values.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles.
- Exposure to Continuous Integration tools like GIT or DevOps pipelines.
Additional Information
Candidate should be self-driven with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and quality standards. The position is full-time and based onsite in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
