Overview
Join the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Inventory Management team to develop cutting-edge, mission-critical systems that facilitate the global management and distribution of billions of products for sellers worldwide. FBA provides an infrastructure-as-a-service model allowing sellers across 135 countries to leverage Amazon’s extensive distribution network with seamless scalability and cost-efficiency. This team operates like a startup within Amazon, offering significant creative freedom in technology and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with diverse, experienced team members to design and launch innovative products and services.
- Develop pioneering technologies in large-scale distributed computing environments that drive industry transformation.
- Implement distributed solutions for predictive analytics harnessing state-of-the-art technologies at massive scale and high speed.
- Build scalable, fault-tolerant, cost-efficient, and user-friendly distributed storage, indexing, and query systems.
- Take broad, high-level problems and translate them into well-designed, effective software solutions.
- Participate actively in an agile development environment ensuring high-quality software delivery.
About the Team
The FBA Inventory Management team aims to empower sellers and enterprises by optimizing inventory planning and oversight within Amazon’s fulfillment and storage networks. Their tools help balance demand and supply effectively while reducing risks of stock imbalances by providing thorough inventory visibility, insightful performance metrics, automation capabilities, and strategic recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least one year of professional, non-internship experience in software development.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.

- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
