Sequel operates as a digital family office investing in pioneering startups while representing the world's elite athletes. We are launching a new media division dedicated to narrating the stories of exceptional figures across sports, music, film, entrepreneurship, investing, and art who push boundaries and redefine possibilities.
Role Overview
As the inaugural Social Media Manager, you will be pivotal in establishing and growing our media brand's footprint on platforms like Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Collaborating intimately with our creative storytellers, you will help craft captivating content that fosters emotional connection, galvanizes engagement, and celebrates boundary-breaking individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for launching and scaling our social media presence, including campaign design and content themes.
- Execute the vision by creating assets, publishing content, and managing active community engagement.
- Drive growth through amplification, partnerships, and ongoing strategy refinement based on performance metrics.
- Collaborate closely with a world-class content team and report directly to leadership, setting KPIs and delivering measurable growth.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience managing or building a social media account with over 100,000 followers and multi-million monthly impressions.
- Proven track record growing multi-channel social accounts for a content-driven consumer brand or creator.
- Expertise in best practices for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X, including SEO strategies tailored for video platforms.
- Exceptional storytelling skills that resonate emotionally with audiences.
- Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and aesthetic quality.
- Strong communication, organizational ability, accountability, and collaborative spirit.
- Authorization to work in the UK without sponsorship.
- Desirable: Access to a creator network and experience with Figma software.
