About the Role
FurtherAI is developing an AI Workspace tailored for the insurance sector, enabling professionals such as underwriters, brokers, and carriers to automate routine tasks and focus on strategic decision-making. Operating with speed, clarity, and quality, we craft stories that resonate within a vital global industry.
We are looking for a Social Media & Content Lead positioned in San Francisco to enhance our brand's presence on platforms including LinkedIn, X, and YouTube. This full-time, on-site position demands someone who can manage the entire social media workflow—from strategy and content generation to publication and audience interaction. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic, early-stage environments and can translate complex subjects into engaging, accessible narratives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage our social media accounts on LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and other relevant channels
- Develop content calendars, write drafts, schedule posts, and publish content adhering to brand guidelines
- Collaborate with the Marketing Lead on promotional campaigns, product news, events, and thought leadership pieces
- Analyze competitor content and industry trends to maintain a unique and compelling content strategy
- Edit and publish short-form videos for YouTube Shorts, demonstrating requisite video editing skills
- Engage actively with community members by responding to comments, managing direct messages, and monitoring platform growth
- Track and interpret social media analytics to refine content reach and effectiveness
- Assist in producing material for paid social advertising campaigns
- Bring innovative ideas for content formats, hooks, and scripting
Qualifications and Experience
- 3 to 7+ years of professional experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing in a full-time capacity
- Experience working in startup environments, preferably in early-stage companies
- Background in B2B SaaS or artificial intelligence sectors is highly advantageous
- Excellent storytelling capabilities with the ability to simplify complex topics
- Exceptional writing skills featuring clarity, conciseness, and natural tone—avoiding AI-generated style
- Adaptability to fast-paced situations, comfortable handling ambiguity, accepting feedback and iterative work
- Strong aesthetic judgment and competence in producing polished written materials
- Proficiency with video editing and graphic design software such as Adobe Suite, Canva, and Figma is preferred
- Data-driven mindset with emphasis on measuring and optimizing content performance
- Must be based in San Francisco with availability to work on-site
Who This Role is Unsuitable For
- Candidates seeking slower, highly structured work settings
- Individuals without prior end-to-end ownership of social media channels
- Those intimidated by high-volume content writing
- Applicants requiring multiple approval steps before posting
- Candidates with only internship experience
- Those preferring agency management roles over hands-on content creation
- Individuals who favor brand marketing strategy over direct content execution
- Applicants not residing in or able to work physically in San Francisco
- Those uncomfortable with rapid feedback and high-quality standards
