About the Role
PE Global Healthcare is actively seeking Social Care Workers and Residential Care Workers to join our committed multidisciplinary teams. These teams deliver residential and day services to individuals with intellectual disabilities ranging from moderate to profound levels, including those facing life-limiting health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, fostering independence and helping achieve personal objectives.
- Provide person-centred care and take on key working responsibilities to support clients holistically.
- Encourage and facilitate community engagement and social inclusion for service users.
- Collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Support personal care routines, implement positive behaviour strategies, and assist with medication management when needed.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a Level 7 qualification or higher in a related field such as Social Care, Psychology, Counselling/Psychotherapy, Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy, Family Support, Disability Studies, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Early Years Care, Occupational Therapy, or Physiotherapy.
- Current CORU registration or actively engaged in the CORU registration process for Social Care Worker positions.
- Valid full manual driving licence.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Previous work experience in settings related to disability, residential care, community care, or social care is preferred.
