SOC Operator / Datacenter (m/w/d)

About the role

At Securitas, you will support the safety of people and property in a full-time, rotating-shift position at a datacenter in Hanau am Main. The role focuses on monitoring security systems, reacting quickly to incidents, and helping maintain controlled and secure site operations.

Key duties

• Operate and monitor the site’s security equipment, including fire alarm systems, intrusion alarm systems, and video surveillance technology.
• Handle alarm follow-up and initiate appropriate action when incidents such as break-ins, damage, or vandalism occur.
• Take the necessary steps to reduce danger in emergencies, threat situations, or damage-related events.
• Coordinate patrol rounds and support structured site monitoring.
• Maintain logs, reports, and incident documentation.

Requirements

• Qualification under Section 34a GewO, preferably at a higher level such as SKP.
• Clean police clearance certificate.
• Good written and spoken German.
• Strong English skills are mandatory, at least B2 level.
• Confident use of common MS Office tools such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and databases.
• A car is an advantage.
