Job Overview

The Site Supervisor - Joinery is responsible for overseeing the installation and finishing of wooden elements like doors, cabinets, paneling, and custom furniture at construction sites. This role involves coordinating with carpenters, contractors, and project managers to ensure work is executed according to blueprints, quality benchmarks, and schedules. Additionally, the supervisor will manage site teams, conduct workmanship inspections, enforce safety regulations, and address on-site problems to maintain project flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly objectives to workers to achieve assigned targets.
• Monitor ongoing site issues and delegate tasks appropriately to workmen.
• Coordinate, organize, and supervise project activities while ensuring the health and safety of the workforce.
• Take necessary safety measures to safeguard worker welfare during all site operations.
• Maintain a safe working environment by managing workplace conditions, equipment, tools, and systems.
• Educate all workers and supervisors about workplace hazards and the precautions needed for their protection.
• Provide competent supervision to the workforce for safety and efficiency.
• Offer necessary safety and health training before workers commence new tasks.
