Site Engineer

Job Overview

The Site Engineer will be responsible for managing all civil engineering activities related to telecommunications projects for STC. This includes overseeing the construction of telecom sites, towers, shelters, fiber optic systems, and other civil infrastructure components. The role demands ensuring project execution aligns with safety regulations, schedule timelines, budget constraints, STC standards, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise civil construction tasks for STC projects.
• Ensure accurate site preparation, foundation works, bases for towers, shelters, handholes, manholes, duct banks, and trench excavation as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Oversee subcontractors and site staff to guarantee adherence to STC project standards.
• Perform thorough site inspections and quality assessments throughout the construction phases.
• Collaborate with STC representatives, consultants, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project delivery.
• Drive timely completion of assigned sites and attainment of project milestones.
• Evaluate civil work quantities and validate completed activities for invoicing procedures.
• Monitor materials delivery schedules and their effective utilization on-site.
• Diagnose and address site issues impacting project advancement.
• Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) policies.
• Assist in site acceptance tests and resolve any punch-list items to close out the project.
• Contribute in project meetings by providing up-to-date status reports on site progress.
