Overview

This role focuses on engineering related to manufacturing processes, involving planning and/or execution of departmental operations or professional activities within a technical specialty. It operates with a degree of autonomy but guided by established policies or performance result analyses.

Responsibilities

• Work on advanced 'exceptional factories' and other computer-based manufacturing systems, requiring strong IT expertise combined with manufacturing specialization.
• Leverage deep knowledge of a technical discipline, analytical thinking, and technical experience to implement strategic policies.
• Maintain extensive understanding of best practices and how the area integrates with others, including insight into competitors and differentiating market factors.
• Exercise judgment by proposing alternative solutions beyond standard parameters to resolve complex manufacturing processes spanning multiple interdependent technical and production cycle aspects, utilizing limited internal and external resources beyond own teams.
• Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues, potentially lead small projects with low risks and resource needs, facilitate information sharing, develop team skills to build consensus on domain topics, set performance expectations, and handle sensitive issues.

Qualifications

• For roles outside the United States: Requires significant function experience and proficiency with digital audio workstation; comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• For roles within the United States: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or a high-school diploma/general education diploma with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
