Job Overview
Join GRASIM INDUSTRIES LIMITED, part of the ADITYA BIRLA GROUP, as a Shift Engineer responsible for overseeing spinning process operations during your shift to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the spinning process to guarantee smooth and safe operations throughout the shift.
- Continuously monitor machine performance and process parameters to meet production objectives.
- Maintain product standards by strictly following established operating procedures and quality specifications.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to promptly address any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns.
- Lead and supervise both operators and contract labor to maintain effective shift workflows.
- Track raw material usage and strive to reduce losses and waste during processing.
- Enforce safety, health, environmental protocols, and housekeeping guidelines consistently.
- Compile and maintain detailed shift production reports, operational logs, and records.
- Detect any irregularities or deviations in processes and apply corrective measures to sustain stable operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement programs aimed at boosting productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
