Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled ITAM Technical Consultant specializing in ServiceNow to design, deploy, and enhance IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions. This position primarily involves managing Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) processes throughout the complete asset lifecycle—from procurement through retirement—to drive cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize ITAM solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Focus on HAM and SAM management covering the entire asset lifecycle.
- Utilize scripting, Flow Designer, and Business Rules to automate and improve workflows.
- Enable license compliance, normalization, reconciliation, and ITAM optimization.
- Integrate ITAM capabilities with CMDB, Discovery, Procurement, SCCM, JAMF, Intune, Flexera, and other third-party tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in enabling license compliance and asset lifecycle management for ITAM.
- Proven ability in integration of ITAM with various enterprise asset and configuration management tools including CMDB and Discovery.
- Hands-on expertise in scripting, Flow Designer, and Business Rules within the ServiceNow environment.
- Familiarity with industry certifications such as CSA, CIS, and CTM is advantageous.
- Educational background of B.Tech or B.E. in any discipline, or any graduate degree.
