Role Overview
The Service Engineer is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on various heavy machinery, delivering technical assistance to clients, troubleshooting technical problems in the field, and maintaining high standards of service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute on-site maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting for heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, skid loaders, and wheel loaders.
- Analyze technical issues accurately and provide effective solutions.
- Offer reliable technical support ensuring client satisfaction.
- Regularly check equipment performance and keep detailed service documentation.
- Maintain open communication with clients and coworkers to address technical issues.
- Efficiently manage time and resources while operating in varied and challenging field conditions.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least two years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and field servicing of heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, skid loaders, and wheel loaders.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and repair equipment reliably.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement.
- Capability to work autonomously under dynamic field conditions.
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
- Relevant technical certifications and hands-on experience with engineering machinery are beneficial.
