About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior C++ Backend Engineer to join our team at Chennai (Tidel Park). This position focuses on developing and maintaining large-scale Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) backend components. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in modern C++ standards, Oracle/SQL databases, and Linux platforms to support manufacturing workflows efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build backend applications using modern C++ (versions 11, 14, and 17).
- Implement business logic modules that drive manufacturing operations.
- Develop and maintain database-driven systems utilizing Oracle and relational databases.
- Optimize SQL queries to achieve high throughput and low latency data access.
- Manage transaction processing ensuring concurrency control and data consistency.
- Create XML-based integration solutions and messaging interfaces.
- Identify and fix production-level defects including performance bottlenecks and memory leaks.
- Support and develop in multi-platform environments including Linux and Windows.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive hands-on experience with C++ (C++11/14/17).
- Proficiency with STL, Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, template programming, and memory management techniques.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL queries, RDBMS concepts, and performance tuning.
- Deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency mechanisms, and ACID compliant transactions.
- Experience working in Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with XML, system integration practices, and debugging tools.
- Use of development environments and tools such as Visual Studio, Makefiles, and Git.
Preferred Experience
- Prior exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Knowledge of lot tracking, lot routing, work-in-progress (WIP), and production routing processes.
- Background in semiconductor, electronics, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
- Experience with enterprise messaging systems such as JMS, TIBCO.

- 5 to 10 years of professional experience in C++ backend development.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in debugging and resolving complex software issues.
- Proven track record in building enterprise-level applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
