Overview

This role as a Senior Software Engineer (Angular) offers a dynamic work environment with diverse projects that ensure continual learning. The candidate will join a skilled team of 150 professionals ranging from apprentices to solution architects, with clear career progression paths supported by training, mentorship, and support tailored to individual growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, and evolve Angular-based applications, contributing across front-end and back-end using Angular, C#/.NET, Azure, Entity Framework, TypeScript, and SCSS/SASS.
  • Participate actively in daily stand-ups, unit testing, code reviews, pull requests, defect resolution, and pair programming for improved software quality.
  • Contribute to sprint reviews, demos, product release cycles, and preparation of technical reports.
  • Engage in fortnightly planning, retrospectives, and continuous delivery improvements.
  • Attend weekly public code reviews, engineering dojos, and refinement sessions to boost team capability.
  • Support junior team members through mentorship and coaching, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field.
  • Strong grasp of core computer science concepts applied to practical engineering challenges.
  • Proven Senior Software Engineer experience delivering high-quality, maintainable software in commercial settings.
  • Extensive hands-on development of complex web apps using Angular and TypeScript.
  • Deep understanding of Angular's architecture including component design, state management, dependency injection, routing, and performance tuning.
  • Experienced in building responsive, accessible, user-centered applications with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS/SASS.
  • Solid expertise in frontend development using TypeScript, Angular, and SCSS/SASS over at least two years.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, enabling creation of robust extensible software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, crafting efficient queries and collaborating with DB specialists.
  • Experienced in applying unit testing across UI, backend services, and database layers.
  • Familiarity with common software design patterns, optimization methods, performance profiling, and strategies for high throughput or low latency systems.
  • Capability in mentoring colleagues, providing technical guidance, helping set development objectives, and fostering improved engineering practices.
  • Initiative-driven with enthusiasm for technology and commitment to continuous learning and professional advancement.
  • Strong dedication to quality, teamwork, and fostering a productive engineering culture.
