Senior QA Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and quality-focused Senior QA Manager to lead the Quality Assurance team in our organization. The role involves overseeing QA strategies, setting testing standards, and ensuring top-tier product and system quality. Collaboration with engineering, product, and business teams is essential to foster ongoing improvement and uphold exceptional quality throughout all development phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute enterprise-wide quality assurance strategies and comprehensive testing frameworks.
• Lead, guide, and manage QA engineers along with testing teams.
• Establish QA standards, processes, and best practices for all software development projects.
• Supervise various types of testing including manual, automated, functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
• Work closely with development and product teams to maintain product quality through the entire software development lifecycle.
• Track quality metrics, identify potential risks, and suggest improvements to processes.
• Handle defect tracking, conduct root cause analyses, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, security protocols, and organizational policies.
• Assess and implement modern QA tools, automation frameworks, and testing technologies.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated leadership in software quality assurance and testing.
• Deep understanding of QA methodologies, software development life cycle (SDLC), software testing life cycle (STLC), and Agile principles.
• Experience working with test automation frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-resolution skills, and sound decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
• Driven by a commitment to quality, innovation, and ongoing process enhancement.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Substantial senior-level experience in QA leadership or quality management roles.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JMeter, Postman, or Appium.
• Preferred familiarity with tools including Jira, Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and cloud platforms.
• Certifications like ISTQB, PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are considered beneficial.
