Senior Purchase Executive

Role Overview

The Senior Purchase Executive at M/s Unitech Structural Works plays a critical role in developing and executing purchasing strategies aligned with the organization's needs. This position requires managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely procurement of materials, particularly within the iron and steel sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and apply effective purchasing plans to fulfill company requirements.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with current suppliers while sourcing new suppliers.
• Conduct contract and agreement negotiations to secure optimal value.
• Manage timely receipt of materials and services to prevent delays.
• Supervise inventory levels and implement stock optimization techniques.
• Collaborate across departments to understand procurement demands and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Evaluate market trends and pricing to guide purchasing decisions.
• Ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory standards.

Candidate Requirements

• At least five years of purchase and procurement experience in the iron and steel industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (BCom) is compulsory.
• Advanced skills in Tally software and proficient in accounting and purchase order preparation.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively to expand the vendor base.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
• Well-connected with transportation providers and able to arrange logistics as required.
