Job Purpose and Responsibilities
Within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sales team, the Senior Preseller is responsible for maximizing sales volume and distribution, reducing stale inventory, implementing approved merchandising standards, collecting accounts receivable, and ensuring superior customer service. Consistency in standards across the region is essential. The role also involves providing up-to-date market intelligence to support sales strategy development and attending professional development training programs. Daily reporting to a supervisor is required.
- Sell a complete product range to designated customers, achieving sales and stale targets set by management.
- Deliver customer service in accordance with approved processes, including adherence to planned visit frequencies and route schedules evaluated daily by the supervisor.
- Conduct daily and weekly inspections of the sales vehicle to maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness, reporting issues promptly.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders with full delivery details.
- Maintain customer inventory at agreed levels to prevent stockouts.
- Execute the company's in-store merchandising plans as coordinated with the supervisor and supporting merchandisers.
- Inform the supervisor of competitor activities within the designated sales territories.
- Perform daily reconciliation of all cheque, cash, and credit sales transactions.
- Uphold a professional appearance consistent with company standards.
- Practice safe driving at all times in compliance with traffic regulations.
Key Performance Indicators
Performance against agreed KPIs will be regularly monitored. Consistent failure to meet expectations may result in disciplinary actions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and account management.
- Proficiency in effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage conflicts constructively.
- Competency in sales planning techniques.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
