Senior Physiotherapist

Position Summary

The Senior Physiotherapist role involves delivering expert physiotherapy and related clinical interventions to patients, adhering closely to regulatory standards and company protocols within Mediclinic Al Sufouh, Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive and specialized physiotherapy evaluations and administer appropriate treatments to patients.
• Provide professional leadership and guidance to team members, coordinating physiotherapy services to enhance patient care quality.
• Contribute actively to quality improvement initiatives, risk management, and governance programs within the department.
• Oversee patient experience protocols in alignment with organizational standards.
• Mentor and support the growth of junior physiotherapy staff members.

Educational and Professional Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Postgraduate training in relevant fields is considered advantageous.
• Minimum of four years postgraduate experience as a Physiotherapist, ideally within inpatient settings, with extensive exposure to respiratory, orthopedic, and neurological care.
• Licensed or eligible for a UAE Physiotherapist license.
• Experience delivering neurological care at a senior level in both hospital inpatient and outpatient contexts.

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong understanding of patient experience benchmarks.
• Proficient leadership and team management capabilities.
• Familiarity with UAE healthcare regulations and compliance.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
