Senior Payroll Specialist

About the Role

We seek a meticulous Senior Payroll Specialist to oversee comprehensive payroll operations for outsourcing clients. This position demands extensive practical payroll knowledge, the capacity to handle several payroll cycles and pay dates concurrently, and adherence to strict deadlines with utmost accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle payroll processing with precision and punctuality for outsourcing clients.
• Calculate and process End of Service (EOS) benefits and final settlements.
• Manage off-cycle payroll disbursements efficiently.
• Conduct reconciliations relating to payroll, banks, and pension funds.
• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law alongside internal policies.
• Support payroll activities during month-end and year-end periods.
• Generate detailed payroll reports and analyses primarily using Excel; familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Finance departments, banks, and other external parties.
• Manage multiple payroll schedules and differing pay dates within a month effectively.
• Operate with efficiency under tight deadlines, maintaining high accuracy.
• Foster solid relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Commerce or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in payroll administration.
• Proficient in Oracle Payroll and HR systems.
• Advanced Excel skills and analytical capability; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of UAE Labour Law provisions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and composure under pressure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
