Based in Dublin, this Senior Operations Manager position at Freenow plays a crucial part in advancing the operational strategy for the Irish market. The role supports the Head of Operations in managing daily activities that impact growth and customer satisfaction, aligning closely with Freenow's mission to enable smarter mobility and flourishing cities.

Key Duties

• Oversee and improve core performance metrics including driver availability, ride completion rates, and passenger wait times.
• Lead and guide a team of Operations Executives, supervising their daily tasks and fostering their career growth.
• Design and execute strategic campaigns to attract and retain drivers, ensuring exceptional passenger experiences.
• Collaborate extensively with Marketing, Product, and Public Affairs to implement product launches, geographic expansions, and sustainability projects such as electric vehicle initiatives.
• Analyze extensive data sets to detect operational challenges, identify trends, and empower evidence-driven decision making.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 5 years professional experience, including at least 3 years in people management roles.
• Confident and personable, excelling in interpersonal communication with diverse groups such as drivers and commercial partners.
• Proven ability in handling complex projects with strong project management competencies.
• Analytically driven with a passion for continuous enhancement and utilizing cutting-edge technology, including AI, to optimize operations.
• Self-starter comfortable navigating ambiguity and the challenges of scaling in a technology marketplace.
• Knowledgeable about technology-enabled marketplaces; a broad network within Irish market sectors is advantageous.
