Job description

About the Opportunity

Join the dynamic team responsible for launching a premier 3,000-capacity live music and cultural venue in Singapore—a destination designed for international touring acts, local performers, comedy showcases, community activities, corporate gatherings, and private events. The facility boasts premium hospitality options along with merchandise, concessions, and public café and bar spaces.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Senior Marketing & Content Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the venue’s marketing direction, brand positioning, audience development, and promotional efforts. This includes oversight of marketing campaigns for concerts, live shows, community programs, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions), hospitality, and commercial ventures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute overarching marketing strategies and annual plans across concerts, shows, hospitality, and related commercial initiatives.
  • Safeguard and evolve the venue’s brand identity, ensuring consistent representation across all customer interfaces.
  • Expand audience engagement and community involvement using data-informed marketing tactics.
  • Monitor audience preferences and market shifts to identify new growth opportunities and fine-tune campaign outcomes.
  • Design and deliver digital-first, continuous content to position the venue as a top cultural hotspot in Singapore.
  • Produce a broad range of marketing materials—graphics, motion/short-form video, interviews, digital ads, branding assets, and campaign visuals.
  • Plan cohesive campaigns across owned, earned, paid, and partner channels to boost ticket sales and commercial return.
  • Oversee paid media initiatives on various digital platforms to maximize growth, engagement, and return on investment.
  • Collaborate closely with promoters, touring teams, sponsors, and stakeholders to enhance campaign reach and influence.
  • Work with creative professionals (designers, photographers, content creators, agencies) to deliver impactful campaigns.
  • Forge and manage sponsorships, brand associations, and promotional partnerships with the commercial team.
  • Cultivate relationships with artists, media, agencies, and community collaborators.
  • Handle public relations and media interactions, managing external PR partners to maintain a positive public image.
  • Support the venue in managing its reputation and navigating any crises in communication.
  • Guide external agencies and future marketing hires, setting standards for creativity, workflow, and campaign process.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams—Event Planning, Operations, Commercial, and Production—to ensure seamless campaign delivery and strong audience experiences.
  • Promote a culture of creativity, teamwork, and high achievement within both internal and external teams.
  • Track campaign metrics and provide data-driven reporting and optimization recommendations to enhance results.
  • Use analytics to refine strategies related to customer acquisition, retention, and overall return on marketing investment.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as audience growth, engagement, ticket sales, sponsorship effectiveness, and commercial success.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • At least 5 years of marketing experience, ideally within live events, music, hospitality, lifestyle, or cultural sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver integrated marketing and brand development campaigns focused on audience growth.
  • Solid grasp of digital marketing, social media, audience analytics, and campaign performance optimization.
  • Proven experience developing digital-first content and engaging entertainment-focused audiences.
  • Hands-on work in creative production, particularly short-form mobile video creation and editing, is highly valued.
  • Track record in organizing sponsorship activations, brand collaborations, and promotional campaigns.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, events-driven environment.
  • Keen knowledge of Singapore’s music, entertainment, nightlife, and youth trends. Existing industry connections are an advantage.
  • Competency with key digital marketing and analytics tools such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CRM, email marketing systems, and ticketing platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities, and an orientation towards collaboration and commercial outcomes.
  • A true enthusiasm for live music, entertainment, and culture, with insights into how social-first content can deepen engagement and brand relevance.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays aligned with venue operations.
