About the Role
Our expanding Tax team is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our vibrant Christchurch office. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor providing high-quality tax advisory and compliance services, navigating clients through complex tax legislation. You will offer strategic insights that enable sound business decisions and support clients in meeting their commercial goals.
As a key leader within the Tax practice, you will encourage teamwork, share your technical knowledge, and assist in the professional growth of colleagues. You will contribute to fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement alongside a group of competent professionals.
In addition to client service, you will help expand the business by recognizing opportunities to deepen client relationships, enhance service offerings, and participate in business development efforts. Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure delivery of outstanding client service.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow existing client accounts and attract new business.
Candidate Profile
- Enjoys collaborating within teams and motivating others to achieve their best performance.
- Excels in recognizing and creating new business avenues.
- Possesses over eight years of substantial experience advising on New Zealand income tax, GST, and Inland Revenue regulations.
- Holds CA, CPA qualifications, or equivalent, including law professionals.
