Senior Manager - Development Financial Planning and Analysis

Role Overview

The Senior Manager in Financial Planning and Analysis (Development) will oversee financial governance and performance tracking of Qiddiya's development portfolio. This position focuses on monitoring development project finances, analyzing variances, monitoring risks, preparing management reports, and ensuring coordination between project controls and accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management of capital development projects, ensuring compliance with budgets, timelines, and project scopes.
• Compile and prepare comprehensive management reports, executive summaries, and budget proposals for review by senior leadership.
• Examine financial outcomes, highlight critical discrepancies, and deliver actionable insights with recommendations.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations between project management and accounting systems to guarantee data integrity and promptly resolve discrepancies.
• Evaluate updates to project schedules (using Primavera P6) to understand financial implications of risks, delays, and alterations in scope.
• Create and update financial forecasting models and scenario analyses to assist in planning activities.
• Implement standardized reporting formats, key performance indicators, dashboards, and tracking tools across development initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Treasury, Project Controls, and FP&A teams to maintain consistent processes and accurate data.
• Participate in initiatives to automate and improve reporting within the Development FP&A department.
• Support governance practices related to budget management, forecasting rigor, and ensuring transparency of financial information.
• Provide mentorship and support to analysts, encouraging precision, responsibility, and ongoing enhancements.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess over 10 years of total professional experience in finance roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), specifically in real estate development contexts.
• Exposure to development, construction, infrastructure, real estate, or managing large-scale capital projects is highly desirable.
• Experience operating within large and complex organizational structures.
• Background in Big 4 accounting firms or top-tier consulting is considered a strong advantage.
