Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Business Operations, reporting directly to the Director of Operations, is tasked with steering the execution of the company's top strategic initiatives. This position requires collaboration across multiple departments—including Product Development, Product Commercialization, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Quality, Regulatory, and external partners—to ensure projects progress effectively from conception to completion. Responsibilities vary from coordinating significant retail launches to leading process improvement efforts and managing strategic projects, making this role pivotal in bringing clarity, coordination, and accountability to complex company endeavors.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate executive priorities into clear, actionable project plans with defined timelines, milestones, ownership, and accountability distributed across departments.
- Coordinate diverse business functions to facilitate smooth project progress, including Product Development, Commercialization, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, and Customer Success.
- Identify potential risks, eliminate obstacles, and ensure project momentum by maintaining thorough documentation and communication of decisions.
- Lead strategic initiatives such as new product launches, commercialization efforts, retail expansions, operational improvements, technology rollouts, process redesigns, organizational changes, manufacturing transitions, and executive special projects.
- Support new product commercialization by managing launch timelines, tracking readiness across functions, identifying risks, and facilitating launch readiness meetings to align teams effectively.
- Drive business process improvements by standardizing workflows, enhancing interdepartmental communication, establishing scalable operating procedures, and implementing new systems and tools.
- Assist in business planning and execution through project updates, executive reporting, milestone tracking, progress monitoring, coordination of stakeholders, and converting leadership directives into practical actions.
- Build strong cross-functional leadership relationships across teams in Product Development, Commercialization, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing Partners to foster alignment and accountability.

Required Qualifications
- At least 8 years of growth-focused experience in Business Operations, Program/Project Management, Commercialization, Product Operations, Strategy, Consulting, or similar operational leadership positions.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience within Food & Beverage CPG, Sports Nutrition, Dietary Supplements, Functional Foods or Beverages, or closely related consumer product industries.
- Proven capability to lead intricate cross-functional projects involving diverse business units.
- Ability to influence teams without direct management authority.
- Outstanding project management and organizational prowess.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Expertise in juggling multiple priorities with acute attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- Background in Business Operations, Commercialization, Product Operations, Chief of Staff roles, Program Management Offices, Management Consulting, or Strategic Initiatives.
- Experience with omnichannel business models involving DTC, Amazon, grocery, mass retail, warehouse clubs, and wholesale channels is advantageous.
