Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to join our Auckland office to advance our Landscape practice in New Zealand and Australia. This role combines design leadership, client engagement, project delivery, and team growth, concentrating on creating impactful, resilient designs deeply connected to their environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Landscape Principal to lead the team and cultivate client and market relationships.
• Contribute to project bids and submissions to maintain a robust national portfolio of landscape projects.
• Combine strategic insight with hands-on experience to deliver well-executed design outcomes.
• Support team culture development and enhance client partnerships, aiding the evolution of Jasmax's Landscape practice.

Qualifications and Experience

• Registered Senior Landscape Architect with comprehensive experience from concept to construction completion.
• Outstanding design judgment paired with effective project leadership and commercial understanding.
• Collaborative leadership fostering team growth through mentoring, constructive feedback, and shared effort.
• Dedicated to design excellence, sustainability, and advancing the practice's reputation and impact.
• Strong relationship-building capabilities with clients, consultants, collaborators, and industry stakeholders in New Zealand.
• Confident representation of the firm in client presentations, workshops, interviews, and industry events.
• Strategic thinker with awareness of the market and the potential to identify new opportunities in sectors such as public realm, infrastructure, education, and regeneration.
