Role Overview

We seek a motivated Senior Java Engineer with solid coding skills and a proactive problem-solving approach. The role involves developing and maintaining ACL services and integration adapters using Kotlin or Java, transforming data between legacy formats and canonical data models, and managing the API layer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and uphold ACL services and integration adapters in Kotlin or Java.
• Transform data between legacy system formats and standardized canonical data models.
• Construct and manage REST API layers.

Technical Requirements

• Strong expertise in Kotlin or Java, with a firm grasp of object-oriented and functional programming principles.
• Experience in creating RESTful APIs using Spring Boot or Quarkus frameworks.
• Knowledge in handling JSON and XML data transformations, including schema validations.
• Basic understanding of messaging concepts such as pub/sub, queues, and topics.
• Familiar with Git version control, pull request strategies, and CI/CD pipeline processes.
• Demonstrated discipline in testing, including unit testing with JUnit and Mockito and integration testing.
• Openness to learning Apache Camel and enterprise integration patterns.
• Effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD) methodologies.
• Familiarity with Docker containers and foundational Kubernetes knowledge.
• Understanding of API versioning tactics.

Additional Information

This is an on-site position requiring attendance five days a week in Bengaluru. Candidates available for quick joining will be preferred.
