Senior Hookup Material Coordinator

Role Overview

The Senior Hookup Material Coordinator plays a vital part in managing materials effectively throughout offshore hookup and commissioning activities. This role emphasizes tracking, inventory control, logistics, reporting, and ensuring material readiness to support smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain consistent materials management procedures both onshore and offshore.
• Assist in creating and applying project-specific material management processes.
• Identify deficiencies in current material systems and promptly report issues to management.
• Monitor material availability closely, highlight shortages, and inform engineering teams of potential impacts.
• Collaborate with hookup engineers and warehouse teams to define material requirements accurately.
• Track delayed materials and expedite their delivery to meet project timelines.
• Prepare issue notes and coordinate transportation of materials to designated hookup areas.
• Create load-out lists and compile necessary customs documents for offshore mobilization.
• Generate detailed material status reports and oversee the receipt and tracking of offshore materials.
• Manage Additional Material Requests (AMRs) and accelerate necessary deliveries.
• Maintain precise offshore inventory records and issue materials from offshore storage locations.
• Reconcile all materials, tools, consumables, and equipment after offshore activities, preparing final inventory and reconciliation reports.
• Complete Return to Shore (RTS) documentation and ensure thorough handover records are finalized.
• Approve cargo manifests, oversee truck material movement documentation, and manage related personnel timesheets.
• Lead and supervise material coordination teams effectively.
• Promote and actively contribute to the company's health, safety, environment, and security (HSES) culture through participation in safety initiatives such as Take 5 activities, Management Walkthroughs, personal safety initiatives, SOAP card programs, and safety improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Material Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Have a minimum of 8 years' experience in materials coordination roles.
• Bring at least 3 years of relevant experience in the Middle East, specifically on Aramco or KSA projects involving Hookup & Commissioning (HUC).

Technical Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of materials management procedures and processes.
• Ability to implement lessons learned and best practices in materials coordination.
• Strong skills in inventory control, logistics coordination, and material tracking, particularly in offshore operational environments.
