About the Role
We are partnering with a leading foreign exchange trading company that is actively expanding its engineering team. The company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to help design, build, and improve critical trading and operational platforms. This presents an exciting opportunity to engage with a modern technology stack centered on C#/.NET and Angular, supported by a clear roadmap of new features, architectural upgrades, and greenfield projects slated over the next year. The organization is determined to strengthen long-term engineering capabilities within a collaborative, product-oriented culture.
Technical Environment
- C# and .NET framework
- Angular preferred (over React)
- SQL Server databases
- Microsoft Azure platform (knowledge of AWS also valuable)
- Event messaging systems like Kafka or Azure Service Bus (advantageous)
- Modern event-driven software architectures
Key Responsibilities
- Create new functionalities for a pivotal trading system
- Engage equally in front-end and back-end development activities
- Enhance existing services by patching bugs and implementing improvements
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Drive the continuous advancement of a Microsoft-based engineering ecosystem
Candidate Profile
- At least five years of commercial experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET development
- Practical experience with Angular in commercial projects
- Demonstrable expertise in full-stack application development
- Sound knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices
- Working experience with Azure, Kafka, or similar service bus technologies is a plus
- Experience in financial services or trading domain is beneficial but not mandatory
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude with enthusiasm for modern engineering challenges
Compensation and Location
This full-time position offers a salary package of up to £95,000 annually, supplemented by a bonus and benefits. The role is based in London with a hybrid working arrangement.
