Senior Data & BI Analyst (Full-Stack)

Role Overview

Kairos Technologies is looking for a Senior Data & BI Analyst with 4-6 years of experience to join their Enterprise Technology Group in Mumbai. This full-time onsite position demands a "full-stack" analyst capable of managing the entire data workflow — from backend data querying and ETL pipeline construction to advanced business analysis and crafting executive-grade dashboards using various BI tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex, interactive, and optimized dashboards across platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, SAP SAC, and Looker.
• Interpret business requirements to create compelling visual data stories that help guide executive-level decisions.
• Create intuitive, interactive dashboards that allow stakeholders to explore data from broad trends down to detailed root causes with built-in drill-down functionalities (e.g., from country-level data to regional cohorts for programs or genres).
• Ensure dashboards are device-agnostic and optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile environments.
• Oversee dashboard administration, access controls, and optimize performance to guarantee zero downtime and rapid data loading.
• Develop advanced, efficient SQL queries to manage ETL processes extracting and transforming data from diverse databases and warehouses.
• Construct and sustain robust data models linking backend systems seamlessly to front-end BI platforms.
• Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies and optimize query efficiency while maintaining data accuracy across reporting layers.
• Go beyond numerical reporting by identifying patterns, irregularities, and actionable insights to support business strategy.
• Perform ad hoc deep-dive analyses to respond to complex business questions and collaborate strategically with internal stakeholders.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to non-technical business leaders, bridging raw data with business objectives.
• Utilize Generative AI and Large Language Models to create rapid proof-of-concept dashboards, metrics, and analytic frameworks.
• Translate AI-driven prototypes into fully operational and scalable dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, SAP SAC, or Looker.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate pipeline development, establish data lineage, create semantic layers, and conduct data cleaning as required.
• Continuously stay informed on emerging AI-powered analytics technologies to boost team productivity and output quality.

Qualifications & Skills

• 4 to 6 years of practical experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Engineering fields.
• Expertise with BI platforms, especially Tableau and Power BI, including advanced features like LOD calculations, DAX expressions, parameter actions, and data blending. Familiarity with SAP SAC and Looker is a plus and can be acquired on the job.
• Strong command of SQL and experience working with cloud-based data stores such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery, along with relational databases.
• Proven skills in building and managing ETL pipelines, with Python proficiency for data manipulation and orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Experience utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, and Claude for data querying, automated coding, and rapid dashboard prototyping, with ability to convert prototypes into operational solutions.
• Exceptional problem-solving capability, solid business insight, and the independence to work with minimal supervision.
• Great attention to detail with a proven aptitude for designing polished dashboards tailored for senior leadership and C-suite audiences.
• A background in Computer Engineering or related disciplines.
