Senior Civil Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, with a strong background in managing Government civil engineering projects. This full-time position requires 8 to 9+ years of hands-on experience specifically within the civil construction sector, including projects for Indian Railways, CPWD, PWD, and other government infrastructure works. Candidates from industries outside civil construction or without the required experience will not be considered.

Location

The base location for this role is Jaipur, with project sites primarily in Jaipur as well. Site locations may change depending on project requirements with prior notice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering projects end-to-end from planning through execution to successful handover.
• Develop and monitor project execution plans to ensure completion within approved schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, government authorities, and internal teams.
• Prepare, review, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, including site management and project status updates.
• Create and update project scheduling documents such as Bar Charts, Gantt Charts, and work progress trackers.
• Identify delays promptly and implement corrective measures to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and verify running and final bills, maintain measurement books, and manage comprehensive project documentation.
• Oversee site activities, supervising engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Plan material use and resource allocation efficiently at the site.
• Manage labor resources by arranging workforce as per project needs, negotiate labor rates, monitor deployment and productivity, and ensure timely labor payments.
• Liaise with government entities, consultants, and project stakeholders, participate in review meetings, and ensure contractual compliance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 8–9 years' experience in Civil Engineering Project Management, exclusively within civil construction.
• Proven experience handling Government projects with emphasis on Indian Railways, CPWD, and PWD projects is essential.
• Strong skills in project scheduling, including proficient use of Bar Charts and Gantt Charts.
• Experienced in preparing detailed Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports along with management reports.
• Advanced knowledge and command of Microsoft Excel and Word for project documentation and reporting purposes.
• Excellent capabilities in communication, coordination, documentation, and multitasking across multiple project activities simultaneously.

Important Eligibility
