Overview
Qatar Airways is expanding its Doha Sales team with an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager. This role involves managing relationships with corporate and trade customers, aiming to maximize airline revenue and minimize sales costs. The position includes negotiating agreements, collaborating in joint sales and marketing efforts, and enhancing revenue through partner networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive account plans to achieve short, medium, and long-term benefits for corporate and trade clients.
- Contribute to creating and implementing Qatar Airways’ sales strategies.
- Manage pricing recommendations for corporate and trade clients and oversee individual account budgets.
- Focus sales efforts on premium cabins and high-yield opportunities.
- Analyze sales data within assigned accounts to identify revenue growth and tactical opportunities.
- Represent Qatar Airways at trade events, promotional activities, and sales functions, including educational and familiarization visits.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in the airline or travel industry, with strong customer-facing and contract negotiation skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of various travel and airline products, strong sales orientation, and understanding of market practices, especially in the GCC region.
- Energetic, passionate about selling, and adept at communicating effectively at all organization levels.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
