Role Overview
We are seeking a Seismic Reporting Developer to join our team on a contractual basis in Pune. The position involves creating and automating dynamic, data-driven reporting solutions utilizing the Seismic platform alongside SQL and Python tools. This hybrid role requires an immediate joiner ready to enhance reporting workflows and automate presentation generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and update Seismic reports and templates to deliver dynamic reporting capabilities.
- Create automated client presentations in PowerPoint and PDF formats using structured data integrated with the Seismic platform.
- Compose and fine-tune complex SQL queries for efficient data retrieval from relational databases.
- Utilize Python scripting for data manipulation, report automation, and workflow enhancement tasks.
- Streamline manual reporting processes to increase operational accuracy and efficiency.
- Engage collaboratively with business, data, and technical teams to ascertain reporting needs and requirements.
- Diagnose and improve existing reporting workflows to optimize performance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in Seismic reporting tools and automation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems.
- Experience developing automated reports in PowerPoint and PDF formats.
- Comfortable with Python scripting for automation and data processing tasks.
- Understanding of reporting processes and workflow automation methodologies.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated expertise in building and automating Seismic reports.
- Ability to develop dynamic, data-driven presentation materials.
- Advanced SQL skills and thorough understanding of database structures.
- Hands-on experience programming with Python in reporting or data automation contexts.
- Availability to join immediately or with a short notice period.
