Role overview

This opportunity is for an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Coach to support software teams in a personal product manufacturing environment in Hesse, Germany. The role is focused on helping multiple teams adopt and scale Agile ways of working, improving delivery performance, and building a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.

You will act as a coach, facilitator, and servant leader for cross-functional teams, helping them increase value delivery, remove blockers, and work effectively in complex Agile settings. The position also involves close partnership with Product Owners, stakeholders, and delivery teams to strengthen Agile maturity and support strategic execution.

What you will do

• Guide Agile teams in applying Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile practices.
• Work with Product Owners to shape, organise, and prioritise backlogs in line with business goals.
• Spot delivery blockers, monitor them, and help teams resolve them.
• Run Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and cross-team workshops.
• Build openness, teamwork, and a mindset of ongoing improvement across teams and stakeholders.
• Lead process improvement efforts and embed Agile working methods.
• Help several teams coordinate work, manage dependencies, and communicate effectively.
• Support large planning sessions and alignment meetings across teams.
• Encourage regular review and adjustment of processes, tools, and ways of working.
• Advise on technical delivery topics such as release handling, deployment flow, and development lifecycle practices.
• Contribute to broader Agile change efforts and improved operational performance.

What the employer is looking for

• At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development settings.
• Hands-on experience with scaled Agile frameworks and multi-team delivery models.
• Strong ability to lead Agile meetings, workshops, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Good working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery practices.
• Experience supporting multiple teams working in parallel within complex delivery environments.
• Understanding of software development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment practices.
• Experience reviewing and improving business and operational processes.
• Strong skills in facilitation, coaching, conflict handling, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence teams and drive change without formal authority.
