SAP BTP CPI Consultant

Role overview

Capgemini is looking for an SAP BTP Integration Suite consultant to build, support, and improve integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems. The role focuses on SAP BTP Integration Suite components such as CPI, API Management, and Open Connectors, with delivery across cloud and on-premise environments.

The position is based in Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, or Gandhinagar. The hiring experience range is 6 to 12 years, and the role is a full-time opportunity.

What you will do

• Create and implement integration flows using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
• Build and administer APIs through SAP API Management.
• Use Open Connectors to connect third-party applications.
• Work with business analysts and other stakeholders to collect and refine integration needs.
• Carry out message mapping, Groovy/JavaScript scripting, and exception handling.
• Improve the speed, stability, and reliability of existing integrations.
• Prepare technical documentation and keep integration architecture records up to date.
• Follow SAP BTP updates and apply current integration best practices.

Skills and experience needed

• Strong background in SAP integration tools, especially SAP BTP, CPI, and PI/PO.
• Practical experience in designing iFlows, APIs, and cloud-based integrations.
• Working knowledge of XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, and messaging standards.
• Ability to write Groovy or JavaScript for transformation and integration logic.
• Exposure to SAP Cloud Foundry and SAP HANA.
• Understanding of EAI/SOA concepts and microservices-based design.
• Familiarity with agile ways of working and DevOps tools such as Git and Jenkins.

Eligibility

Applicants with any graduate degree can apply. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline is preferred. SAP certification in BTP or CPI is an added advantage.

Additional information

Experience with external platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, or Oracle is preferred.
