Salesforce Manual QA Engineer

About the Role

Velodata Global Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Salesforce Manual QA Engineer with extensive experience testing Salesforce environments including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. The position offers up to ₹16 LPA compensation and the flexibility of working remotely or from locations in Trivandrum or Kochi, Kerala.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement comprehensive QA strategies, detailed test plans, and test cases specific to Salesforce projects.
• Conduct various testing types such as Functional, Regression, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), API testing, and Integration testing.
• Verify Salesforce configurations, customizations, Apex code including classes, triggers, and batch jobs for quality assurance.
• Develop and sustain both manual and automated test cases to ensure coverage.
• Manage defect identification, logging, tracking, and resolution utilizing tools like JIRA and Azure DevOps.
• Work collaboratively with developers, Salesforce admins, and business teams to drive quality releases.

Required Expertise

• Proficient in manual QA testing specifically within Salesforce platforms including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Experienced in API testing supporting REST and SOAP services.
• Strong skills in Integration Testing methodologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium and Playwright.
• Capable of validating Apex classes and triggers effectively.
• Command over Salesforce query languages SOQL and SOSL.
• Familiarity with Data Loader and Workbench utilities for Salesforce data management.
• Skilled in defect tracking tools like JIRA, Xray, and Zephyr.
• Experience operating within CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitHub Actions.
• Comfortable working in Agile and Scrum development frameworks.
