Job description
About the Role
This role focuses on owning results and diligently working towards meeting sales objectives. As a Sales Representative, you will primarily strive to maximize point of sale volumes and shelf placements. Your responsibility includes managing and organizing client territories, making sure all activities align with headquarters strategies and business functions.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive sales to meet prescribed targets effectively.
- Conduct visits to point of sales within assigned territories to confirm product availability and correct placement, ensure prices are displayed, advertising materials are appropriately positioned in correct amounts and timeliness.
- Process orders with suitable quantity and variety to maintain visibility and appropriate stock levels at points of sale.
- Identify and provide strategic insight towards potential business growth opportunities.
- Influence sales by supporting clients with catalog information, placement optimization, promotions, and fostering innovative sales methodologies.
- Establish and sustain relationships with customer representatives in the field.
- Communicate activities to retail outlets to guarantee implementation.
- Involve clients in Category Management talks and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Provide reports and updates on store activity changes.
- Execute merchandising initiatives effectively.
- Track, report, and analyze field trade activity results, adherence to sales agreements, retail price trends, and overall performance monitoring.
- Set and oversee Quality standards at points of sale, customer satisfaction indicators, and other relevant KPIs.
Collaboration
Work closely with Field/Regional Managers, Category Management teams, and Merchandisers.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree minimum in Economics or Marketing.
- At least two years of experience in field sales roles.
- Prior experience in the FMCG sector highly valued.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
- Proven success in achieving sales targets.
- Familiarity with commercial and office software such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Valid driving license.
