About The Career Academy
The Career Academy is a prominent provider of industry-recognized online courses spanning New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Since 2010, it has supported over 25,000 students annually in enhancing new skills, advancing their careers, and achieving personal and professional objectives across various fields such as accounting, business, animal care, hospitality, healthcare administration, management, technology, psychology, and counselling.
Role Overview
We seek a driven and personable Sales Advisor to engage with prospective students, understand their educational ambitions, and aid them in selecting appropriate courses. This full-time role is entirely remote and focuses on guiding applicants through enrolment, nurturing new and existing leads, and meeting individual and collective sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inquiries from prospective students via phone and email
- Assess individual goals to suggest suitable course pathways
- Provide clear information regarding course details, study formats, fees, and enrolment procedures
- Conduct follow-ups on current and new leads
- Efficiently handle enrolment processing
- Maintain accurate and updated records within the CRM system
- Document conversations and follow-up actions meticulously
- Strive to meet personal and team sales targets
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive experience for prospective students
Candidate Profile
- Experience in sales, customer service, or related customer-facing roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
- Comfortable engaging prospective students through phone and email
- Skilled listener who can assess and recommend based on individual needs
- Positive, motivated demeanor
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficient with computers, CRM platforms, and standard office applications
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Team-oriented with a cooperative attitude
Experience in education, online learning, or consultative sales is an advantage but not mandatory.
