Role Overview

The role of R.M Quality Incharge at the Scrap Yard is a full-time, on-location position at Tata Steel's Ludhiana plant. Responsibilities encompass managing the quality of incoming and stored scrap raw materials, ensuring adherence to company quality specifications and standards. The incumbent is responsible for inspecting and categorizing scrap materials, overseeing segregation and storage methods, liaising with procurement and production teams, and keeping detailed quality inspection records. This position involves instituting quality control protocols, resolving any quality discrepancies, and promoting safe and clean scrap yard operations. Collaboration with operations and logistics teams is essential to maximize scrap utilization, minimize waste, and foster continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills
