Overview
Our client, a prominent financial services firm based in Dublin, is seeking a seasoned Risk & Regulatory Affairs Manager to steer and enhance their risk management and regulatory compliance department. This senior leadership position reports directly to the CEO and works closely with the Board, Risk Committee, and senior management to oversee risk, regulatory adherence, anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) controls, governance, and complaint handling processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the risk management and regulatory affairs functions ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
- Provide AML and CTF oversight in alignment with regulatory expectations.
- Manage governance frameworks, complaints management, and reporting mechanisms.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, including the CEO and Board, to drive informed risk decision-making.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in risk management and AML/CTF within financial services.
- In-depth understanding of the financial regulatory environment.
- Possession of a relevant professional qualification.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and contribute effectively to risk governance.
Additional Information
The role qualifies as a Pre-Approved Control Function 3 (PCF3) under the Central Bank of Ireland regulations and necessitates an on-site presence.
