Risk Manager

Job Purpose

Oversee the Risk Management function to guarantee efficient planning, governance, risk mitigation, reporting, and monitoring of performance throughout an integrated rail project. This role also includes leading project progress reporting.

Qualifications and Education

• Proficient English communication skills.
• University degree in Engineering with a focus on Electronic, Telecommunication, or Computer disciplines.
• Holds professional certifications in planning and scheduling.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling software.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in project management, with at least 6 years dedicated to Communication and Control Systems projects, preferably with international exposure.
• Strong technical knowledge of metro or railway systems, including communications, control, security, and passenger information comfort systems.
• Mandatory fluency in English; Arabic language skills considered advantageous.
• Willingness to relocate to the Middle East for medium to long-term assignments exceeding three years and flexibility to undertake global business trips.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, capable of managing teams and resources beyond direct hierarchical reporting lines.
• Proactive problem-solving skills, business-driven mindset, and a results-oriented approach.
• Experience in handling customers, stakeholders, and managing multifaceted projects in challenging, multicultural, and international contexts with diverse technical disciplines.
