About the Role
Join a leading global company with a strong presence across multiple sectors as an RFX & Contract Administration Buyer. In this position, you will develop and co-manage a robust relationship with a major client in the energy and utility industry, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely execution of Request for Quotations (RFx) and contract management duties.
- Support complex or exceptional cases while analyzing root causes.
- Manage SLAs and overall deliverables effectively.
- Assist in generating cost savings initiatives.
- Utilize client software tools such as Microsoft Office, SAP, Ariba eSourcing, Agora, Sequana, and ServiceNow in accordance with specific activities.
- Serve as the primary contact for agents and category teams concerning process activities within scope, providing guidance on complicated cases.
- Prepare and deliver both regular and ad hoc reports.
- Identify anomalies and deviations from policies during process execution.
- Provide frequent updates to supervisors regarding process status, queues, and performance metrics.
- Report on backlog status periodically and escalate issues promptly.
- Support quality assurance processes by investigating reported quality concerns.
- Offer coaching and training sessions for clients and team members, including newcomers.
- Manage exceptional tasks such as allocation requests, hosting category meetings, and preparing minutes of meetings when required.
- Participate in process-related calls with stakeholders and document key outcomes.
- Act as a backup for team lead responsibilities within the category.
- Drive and support standardization and harmonization initiatives.
- Initiate and contribute to process improvement efforts.
Candidate Profile
- Proficient in English communication, both written and spoken.
- Basic understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) operations.
- Competent typing skills and familiarity with MS Office applications.
- Experience working with SAP, Oracle, Ariba, or Coupa procurement systems.
- Exposure to procurement operations with strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
- 4 to 6 years of practical procurement experience implementing procurement initiatives.
