Position Overview
The Revenue Management Analyst I at Allegiant is an entry-level role focusing on maximizing revenue from scheduled flights. Candidates will specialize in one of three areas: air pricing analytics, ancillary pricing analysis, or revenue modeling enhancements, alongside general pricing and yield management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage aircraft seat inventories using forecasting models and market behavior insights.
- Develop, price, and assess air-related ancillary revenue streams.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects aligned with the airline's strategic profitability goals.
- Produce and update reports and revenue analyses for the revenue management team.
- Exemplify Allegiant's customer service standards in personal conduct and team leadership.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative disciplines.
- Ability to work legally in the US with successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong organizational skills managing numerous unique flights.
- Solid understanding of basic supply and demand economics principles.
- Self-driven with a focus on outperforming past results.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and collaborative mindset.
- Preferred experience or interest in the airline or transportation sector.
- Knowledge of business, economics, or mathematics is a plus.
- Familiarity with coding languages like SQL, Python, or Visual Basic advantageous.
- Capability to build spreadsheet models and generate meaningful outputs highly valued.
Physical and Work Environment
The position requires office-based work involving frequent sitting, standing, talking, hearing, and keyboard use. Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds and potential shift variations in a 24-hour work environment are expected. Exposure to typical office noise and environmental changes will occur. Travel may be required. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.
