Retail Marketing Manager

Overview

We are recruiting a Retail & Brand Commercial Manager on a 12-month contract based in London with a hybrid working model. This role is with a well-known global entertainment and consumer products company offering £381/day pay through an umbrella company.

Role Summary

This position requires leading the commercial marketing efforts across the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will craft and implement retail marketing strategies that enhance consumer engagement and foster commercial growth. Collaboration with Retail, Category, and Franchise departments will be key to developing outstanding campaigns that produce tangible business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and carry out retail marketing plans with focus on major retail partners
• Deliver omnichannel campaigns aimed at boosting brand visibility and sales
• Design tailored retail activations to distinguish the brand in the marketplace
• Detect consumer trends and convert data insights into commercial opportunities
• Evaluate campaign results and provide practical recommendations
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with retailers, advertising agencies, and internal teams
• Contribute to commercial pitches, business reviews, and strategic plans using data-driven insights

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience in retail, shopper, or trade marketing fields
• Track record of successfully implementing integrated marketing campaigns
• Commercially aware with understanding of marketing’s impact on sales
• Experience collaborating with retailers, media agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Knowledgeable in digital, social media, and influencer marketing approaches
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience working within large, matrix organizations considered beneficial
