Job Summary
Guru Harkishan Traders Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a responsible and disciplined Cashier for Bazario Supermart located in Ghaziabad (Vasundhara). The role focuses on managing billing operations using Marg ERP, ensuring speed, precision, and integrity. Additionally, the candidate must be prepared to support floor activities during peak rush hours.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate accurate bills using Marg ERP software, verifying item scans, quantities, and prices to avoid errors, omissions, or duplicates.
- Handle multiple payment methods including cash, UPI, and cards, ensuring the correct payment mode matches the billing entry.
- Maintain complete accuracy in cash management by properly balancing opening and closing cash amounts and promptly reporting any discrepancies.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, addressing basic questions at the billing counter and ensuring a swift checkout experience.
- Assist on the store floor during busy periods by managing customer flow, helping with packing, locating products, and handling queues as needed.
- Adhere strictly to store policies, avoiding misuse of the billing system, unauthorized discounts, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the billing counter.
Important Rules
- Entering accurate billing and selecting the appropriate payment method are mandatory.
- Any mismatch between cash received and billing entries will incur strict consequences.
- Unauthorized discounting or billing manipulation is prohibited.
- Leaving the billing counter without permission is not allowed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with billing software, preferably Marg ERP.
- Strong numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Honesty, discipline, and responsibility.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a retail environment.
Experience
Preferred experience ranges from 1 to 3 years as a cashier, though motivated freshers with a good aptitude for learning are welcome to apply.
