Retail Betting Assistant

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Retail Betting Assistant to join our team in Clonmel, County Tipperary. This position involves warmly welcoming customers into our retail betting shops, providing exceptional service, and promoting our online and in-store betting products. Full training is provided, so previous betting industry experience is not required — a positive attitude is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding hospitality by warmly engaging and hosting customers in the shop environment.
• Promote and cross-sell our retail and online betting products and services.
• Assist customers in placing bets via betting terminals, telephone, and direct shop transactions.
• Maintain superior shop presentation to create an appealing and inviting atmosphere.
• Provide operational leadership in the absence of Shop and Deputy Manager to ensure smooth shop functioning.
• Be adaptable and customer-focused in handling various situations.
• Comply with social responsibility duties, adhering strictly to relevant guidelines and regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting pay at €14.40 per hour with increases after 12 months.
